California Dreamin'
I took this photo on the last walk that I took in Orange County, right before moving back up to my parents' house back up in the middle of nowhere, California, right near the Nevada border. Palm trees have always been something I've loved, particularly because of how much they remind me of home. I never grew up around palm trees, per se, but being from California, that's what people always associate us with; that and the Golden Gate Bridge. I loved the silhouette of the palm trees in this, backed by the almost dream-like clouds, creating this kind of ethereal California dream. Palm trees always reminded me that no matter where in the world I am, I'll always be a California boy at heart.
