Week 6 | Jellies | Erika Clark
This week, I decided to post this photo that I took at the Long Beach Aquarium last August. I really like looking at the jellyfish exhibits, because they always make me feel like a kid again. I look at them with the wonder and amazement of a kid who has seen what they might perceive as magic for the first time.
In this picture, I like how the light coming from under the jellyfish illuminate them in a way that provides depth and still leaves something to the imagination. It does a good job of revealing just enough to spark interest but concealing enough to make them a bit mysterious. They each remind me of a little full moon and give a similar feeling to how I feel looking at the night sky. The blue color of the light also helps in making it feel like night and giving them a mystical feel.

Very nice image and wonderful ideas behind it. It also shows nicely, versus some other posts, that cool like can live by itself and be constitutionally beautiful. In other posts with warm light it is the contrast to cool that makes them beautiful, here cool light lives on its own. Really nice post.
