I took this photo while I was on a walk around my neighborhood. This is my favorite spot that I walk to, and in the late afternoon I find it so calming to stand out there and listen to all the frogs croaking and the breeze moving the leaves around. On the day I took this photo, I remember being in a bit of a sombre mood, and hopeless feelings were getting to me, but when I turned the corner and saw the sky, with the sun peeking through the grasses, washing across the sky and reflecting warm colors onto the clouds, I felt more at peace. The difference between the dark grey clouds (toward the bottom of the sky in the photo) which I was seeing more of that day, and the color and warmth from the setting sun reminds me of hope and lifts my mood.
Nice photo and thoughts on the image - remember when looking at Gray clouds that Gray light does not exist and what you are actually seeing are degrees of lavender :)
