Solitude
Lately, I haven't been going out as much as I know that I should, at least to get regular exercise and vitamin D. It feels like more and more lately we shouldn't be going outside, and should be locking ourselves away in our houses in desperate attempts to curb exposure to ourselves and others. Though, I did force myself to go outside and take a walk by myself, mask equipped. Just around my little suburban Orange County neighborhood. I found myself in the parking lot of a liquor store, closed either due to time or COVID-19. But this light was still on, illuminating the space around it, despite the fact that the only person, in fact literally the only thing in the entire parking lot, was me. This little light, faintly glowing, was still glowing for me. My own personal spotlight, six feet away and social distancing, of course.
Interesting image and mood created from your post and the photo. I think the solitude of the light is further emphasized by the grandness and color of the sky behind. Nice post.
